I'm Christine and I am the one behind the apron! I absolutely love being a food blogger and hope you get as much joy in reading my posts as I do in putting them together.

I am an accountant by day and a budding chef by night. The kitchen is my place for creativity and relaxation. To me, there is nothing better than sitting around the table with friends and family and enjoying a great dish that you slaved over all day long. Talking and laughing and enjoying good food makes every second of preparation worth it.

When I am not in the kitchen, I love to travel and spend time with friends and family. I am a sports girl at heart and enjoy spending time outdoors. I am interested in fashion and photography and hope my blog gives me a chance to improve my photo skills as I am still very much a beginner!

My blog is about my daily activity mostly in the kitchen (and sometimes out and about). I love sharing the amazing food I enjoy each day with you and hope to spark your interests in cooking, too! The best I could hope for is that I could inspire you to try new things, be creative and go for it! The best lesson I have learned from my time so far is not to be afraid to mess up. It is when you think you have ruined a dish that your creativity kicks in and you can make something truly delicious. If I never left the cauliflower boiling for too long, I wouldn't have come up with my mashed cauliflower as a faux mashed potatoes side dish. (I Can't Believe It's Not Potatoes) It is times like these that you are pushed to think outside the box and the best recipes are developed!
